Prof. Dr. Raphael Moreira is a Brazilian academic and researcher recognized for his contributions to agricultural sciences, intellectual property, and rural innovation. Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in 1982, he is currently Professor Eletivo at Iles – Campus Itapina, serving as a permanent faculty member of the Professional Master’s Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation (PROFNIT). He also acts as Coordinator of Postgraduate Programs and Courses, is the designated future coordinator of the Professional Master’s Program in Coffee Growing (Ifes – Campus Itapina), and serves as Deputy Coordinator of the undergraduate program in Agronomy. His teaching and research encompass diverse areas, with emphasis on agricultural mechanization, precision agriculture, development and testing of agricultural and forestry machinery, ergonomics, pesticide application technologies, and innovation in storage systems. He has further expertise in water resources, including irrigation and drainage projects, fertigation with coffee wastewater, soil and water conservation, rural water supply projects, and earth dam designs. Beyond technical aspects, he integrates perspectives on rural administration, agroecology, environmental legislation, and sustainable property management, aligning his work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. His scholarly production reflects his growing influence, with 21 citations, 6 publications, and an h-index of 3, evidencing both academic impact and practical relevance.
